Aims to contribute to the incorporation of the gender perspective in university teaching, the reason is that gender mainstreaming in university teaching seeks an ethical orientation in the performance of future professional activities of graduate students, and a greater sensitivity in their gender relations and before the discriminatory structures present in society.
For example, currently studying economics and business are the people who will lead large corporations and small and medium-sized companies in the future, their education in responsible direction and management should be prioritized, so that graduates have internalized essential ethical values for companies and society in general.
For that, they create a manual that makes available to teachers and students of Universities and Business Schools a set of cases of companies in which the main protagonists are women managers and in which, in addition, the obstacles of special caliber that they face in the business world are highlighted, as well as the formulas that are used to make them forehead.
Why it's a good practice: This initiative should be considered a good practise for different reasons:
- The awareness-raising is essential to make changes in the society
- The visibility is the first step to make tools and changes
- The visibility of female references in terms of responsibility and power is necessary so that future women know that they can achieve it and it is also for them
