Contexto
This is a manual of business case studies with a gender perspective, developed to help incorporate gender mainstreaming into university teaching in economics and business, promoted by the Women Institute and Ministry of Equality (Spain) with partner Fondación Ronsel.
Objetivos
The initiative aims to foster ethical orientation and greater sensitivity to gender relations and discriminatory structures among future business professionals who will go on to lead corporations and SMEs.
Actividades
A manual was created for teachers and students of universities and business schools, presenting cases of companies whose main protagonists are women managers, highlighting the specific obstacles they face and the strategies used to address them.
Conclusiones
The practice is framed as good practice because awareness-raising is essential for societal change, visibility is a first step toward tools and change, and visibility of female references in responsibility and power roles is necessary so future women know they can achieve it too.
