Contexto

The Community of Madrid, through its General Directorate of Community Women and partner Fundacion Ronsel, launched the LiderA ('To Lead') programme to promote women's leadership by improving their professional projection and their access to management positions in companies.

Objetivos

The programme sought to build future female role models in the business world, particularly in decision-making roles, in order to contribute to gender equality in the workplace and in business.

Actividades

Rather than pursuing mass outreach, the programme concentrated intensive, tailored support - advice, coaching and training - on a specific profile of women, delivering 28 seminars, 28 workshops and 196 tutoring actions.

Conclusiones

By design, the programme's concentrated, intensive-support model limited the number of women it could reach, prioritising depth of support over breadth of participation.
