Agir pour la Parité, Performance à la Clé

A think-tank position paper (Institut Montaigne, Paris) arguing that gender diversity is a performance and growth factor for organisations. It notes that despite numerous French laws favouring progress on gender equality, none has secured real equality between women and men in the professional world.

The authors call for continued sharing of power and inclusion of women, revising how absence and presence time is managed, managing career paths differently, and fighting stereotypes from school onward. They argue responsibility falls on managers, administration directors and politicians, under the vigilance of civil society, and stress the importance of implementing measurement, control and transparency tools, since progress on gender equality is never guaranteed.
