Context

The Philippines' Department of Education (DepEd) launched Project AGAP.AI on 9 January 2026 at Quezon City Science High School, describing it as the country's first nationwide programme for responsible AI integration in basic education, with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. attending the launch.
