Context

Crescere in Digitale (Growing in Digital) is an Italian programme promoted by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies / ANPAL and implemented by Unioncamere (Union of Italian Chambers of Commerce) with Google Italy, under the EU Youth Guarantee initiative, running since 2015 to give NEETs a 50-hour online digital-skills course followed by matched business traineeships.

Results

Between 2015 and 2018, 12,860 NEETs completed the course, with over 5,000 participants attending 130 in-person training workshops nationwide and 3,096 internships activated; 85% of those completing the course passed the final online test (100 multiple-choice questions, 60% required to pass).
