Digi4All Program

In 2018 and 2019, Digital Inclusion Luxembourg taught IT classes and workshops in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and the European Social Fund.
The classes covered subjects that are relevant to use computers autonomously in both in daily life as well as in the context of employment.
The classes were designed for job seekers, but everybody was welcome. A special focus was on digital literacy, employability, complementary language offers of established offers such as ECDL, and media competences.
With this program they were able to give more people access to digital tools that allowed them access the digital society and the job market. They also worked to equip everybody in Luxembourg with IT equipment who could not afford it.

Context: Digital Inclusion Lu was founded in 2016. Their goal is to make information technology accessible to everybody, promote social inclusion through digital technology and take action for the environment.

Key learning points: digi4all is aimed at all those who want to acquire skills for teaching and learning under the conditions of digitalisation and who want to get a comprehensive view of the opportunities and challenges of digitalisation for the education system.
digi4all meets the requirements of digitalization from different and interconnected perspectives. Informatic, didactic and media pedagogical basics and competences can be acquired in 12 modules.
The course can be implemented as a blended or e-learning module and can thus be optimally adapted to local conditions. Interactive, collaborative and creative tasks and content ensure continuous motivation and sustainable learning success.
