Kazakhstan's eGov.kz and eGov Mobile grew to over 15 million registered users by end-2025, delivering more than 26 million public services in the first half of 2025 alone and lifting the country to 24th of 193 in the UN E-Government Development Index.
Launched in 2006, eGov.kz is Kazakhstan's national e-government portal. Paired since the 2010s with the eGov Mobile app, it consolidates public services from dozens of government agencies into a single sign-on platform run by the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry through the National Information Technologies JSC.
By the end of 2025 the portal counted more than 15.1 million registered users, including 610,000 new registrations that year, while the eGov Mobile app reached 11.7 million users with 6.4 million monthly active users. More than 90% of government services are available online, and citizens accessed over 26 million public services through the two channels in the first half of 2025 alone, with mobile now handling roughly 45% of that volume.
The platform underpins Kazakhstan's rise to 24th of 193 countries in the UN E-Government Development Index. However, the headline adoption figures come mainly from the platform operator's own reporting; independent evidence on service-quality outcomes and on uptake among rural or older populations is considerably thinner than the usage statistics suggest.
