ENIA 2.0 — Congo-Brazzaville's Free National School for AI and Digital Skills

ENIA 2.0 (École du Numérique et de l'Intelligence Artificielle) opened in Brazzaville on 7 October 2024, founded by young Congolese entrepreneurs including director-general Chirel Mongo, to address what organisers describe as strong demand for AI training and a near-total absence of training spaces in the Republic of Congo.

The school operates from four buildings inside the Institut des jeunes sourds in Brazzaville, offering technology licence degrees and a BTS in mechatronics alongside dedicated AI and emerging-technology tracks. It has capacity for 1,500 students; as of its most recent public update it had 410 students attending in person and via videoconference.

A parallel 'Bourse mon avenir' (My Future Scholarship) scheme has already granted free three-year training to more than 500 young Congolese, with an aim of reaching 1,000 scholarship recipients, and the school presented its second cohort in November 2025. Plans call for expansion to Pointe-Noire.

No independent evaluation of learning outcomes, employment results, or completion rates has been published; the available evidence is limited to enrolment and scholarship figures reported by the school and by regional press.
