Context

InfoPark Budapest was established in December 1996 in Budapest's District XI, on the bank of the Danube, as a joint public investment by Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Economy and Transport, developed with private partner IVG Immobilien/Infopark Rt. It is described as the first innovation and technology park in Central and Eastern Europe.
