Context
The 'Trešaistēvadēls' (Father's Third Son) project, supervised by Latvia's Culture Information Systems Center (2009-2011), sent librarians equipped with laptops and mobile internet to deliver door-to-door basic-ICT training to elderly, disabled and remote-area residents who could not visit public libraries, after piloting with an initial 4 participants and developing a training curriculum available to Latvia's 800+ public libraries.
Results
The pilot delivered training to 190 people via 28 operational staff (librarians).
