Context

Opened in October 2021 in Abidjan's Plateau district with GIZ and AWS, the 1,200 m² Orange Digital Center Côte d'Ivoire bundles a free coding school, a solidarity FabLab, the Orange Fab startup accelerator and the Orange Ventures Africa investment fund, with priority access for women, out-of-school youth and people with disabilities.

Results

Orange reports more than 3,500 people trained and 92 startups supported at the site; satellite 'ODC Club' spin-offs have followed, and by 2025 Orange counted over 14,500 people supported across Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Liberia combined.
