Context

This Comenius University study analyses women's representation in the highest decision-making bodies of Slovak companies and compares it with international research.

Results

Only 5% of TREND TOP 200 companies had a woman in the top executive position; women held 7.17% of board-of-directors seats and 15.5% of supervisory-board seats, showing a persistent 'glass ceiling' in the Slovak business sector.
