Contexto

Published by Spain's Women's Institute, this guide provides a methodology for preparing and implementing equality plans in companies, aligned with Organic Law 3/2007, Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015 (Workers' Statute), Royal Decree-Law 6/2019, and Royal Decrees 901/2020 and 902/2020 on equality-plan registration and equal pay.

Objetivos

To generate knowledge and a specific methodology for companies to negotiate, prepare, implement and evaluate equality plans, addressing companies' regulatory responsibilities on gender equality and helping increase women's presence in decision-making.

Actividades

The guide is structured in five phases: (1) launching the equality-plan process — communication and opening of negotiation, and formation of the negotiating commission; (2) carrying out a diagnosis — collecting and analysing quantitative and qualitative data on the degree of gender-equality integration in the company; (3) designing, approving and registering the plan — defining objectives, measures, monitoring/evaluation indicators and an implementation schedule; (4) implementing and monitoring the plan — verifying compliance and assessing results; (5) evaluating the plan — assessing the degree of goal achievement, results and overall impact. It also offers downloadable tools and templates that companies can adapt to their own structure and needs.
