What works in Germany

Germany has implemented several evidence-based programmes to integrate underrepresented groups into employment and civic participation. Stark im Beruf supported over 18,000 mothers with a migration background, with nearly one third moving into insured employment or training, while AfB social & green IT employed people with disabilities at 47–49% of its workforce across ~20 locations. SAP Autism at Work reported hiring 215+ autistic employees across 16 countries with ~90% internal retention, and Integreat provided multilingual local information to refugees and migrants across 100+ German municipalities. These practices demonstrate Germany's engagement with inclusive employment and integration strategies, though most evidence is observational or self-reported rather than independently audited.
