Description

60+ Virtual Culture was an ERASMUS+ project that provided tailor-made elearning programmes for seniors' to develop their IT competences and skills, and guidelines for trainers.
The focus of the program was providing access to virtual culture using digital skills. They wanted to show seniors the many (mainly free) opportunities that are at their fingertips today such as audiobooks, virtual museum and gallery visits.
They created a range of elearning courses that are open and accessible to anyone who might need them.
The courses are aimed at seniors 60+ and trainers.

Context: ICT tools, digital devices and VR equipment seem to be an ideal solution to aging society problems. Which many services now online, it is important that the older generation is able to access them.

Stakeholders involved: Glafka s.r.o. (Czech Republic), Association
E-seniors (France), Associazione Innovamentis (Italy), Stowarzyszenie Żółty Parasol (Poland)

Key learning points: Taking part in a strategic partnership where trainers from four different organizations providing ICT courses for seniors in Poland, Czech Republic, France and Italy have been exchanging their experience and knowledge during several joint staff trainings, we have created a list of practical recommendations for those willing to initiate learning programs for the elderly.
