Context

Portugal's Choices Programme funds a national network of Digital Inclusion Centres — 107 as of its fifth intervention phase, including the Azores and Madeira — offering certified ICT training and digital-skills activities aimed at socially vulnerable young people, immigrant descendants and Roma communities.

Results

Between January 2013 and June 2015 the Centres issued a total of 8,434 basic ICT skills diplomas (DCB), part of a programme self-evaluated internally since 2001 via a SMART-indicator platform.
