Context

Tajikistan's Ministerial Order No. 302 (March 2024) established a three-level ICT Competency Standards for Teachers framework with UNESCO and RITTI, funded by the EU's Quality Education Support Programme II, piloted with a standalone 'Ethical and Responsible Use of AI in Education' course from April 2025.

Results

A post-workshop survey of the first cohort (35+ teachers) found 92% rated the training 'very useful' and over 85% expressed interest in becoming ICT-CST facilitators or mentors.

Conclusions

Nationwide rollout of the ICT-CST micro-certification pathway was still in progress as of mid-2026; evidence to date captures satisfaction rather than classroom impact.
