Context

Digital SkillShift (2019-2020) was a project led by ALL DIGITAL with partners Stiftung Digitale Chancen, Fondazione Patrizio Paoletti and Simplon.co, funded by the JPMorgan Chase Foundation, to help job-seekers develop digital skills for entry-level 'digital jobs' outside the ICT sector.

Objectives

To qualify job-seekers facing digital-transformation disruption and to mobilise employers toward ongoing engagement in tailor-made digital-skills training for existing and future employees.

Activities

A 2019 employer-needs survey informed a tailored training programme, piloted across three target countries; piloting was delayed by COVID-19 and completed by end of 2020.
